Urban-Architectural Competition | 1st Prize

The kindergarten is envisioned as a small, vibrant city — a spatial structure that develops around the idea of community, movement and interaction. The kindergarten is conceived as a street bent into a ring, achieving clear functional organization and logical circular traffic flow. Radially oriented streets with their educational content are set as the backbone, to which clean functional units of living rooms and service spaces are attached in the form of clear and rational blocks.

Ten group rooms are organized into two units of five — nursery in the eastern part, and kindergarten in the southwestern part of the building.

The kindergarten allows children to move freely, meet, explore and choose, through the experience of spaces that are not hierarchically separated from those for adults.
